2nd Time Builder. I Need Help

Every-time after I type my password to log into Windows my computer immediately shuts off. Can somebody help me?

My specs are:

2700X

MSI X470 gaming m7 AC

ROG Vega 64 with Morpheus II

16gb TridentZ RAM

RM850X

Lian Li 011 Dynamic XL

1tb HDD

2tb SSHD

500gb NVMe storage

CoolerMaster Masterliquid ML360R

I am using cablemod cables

What operating system?

What are the PC specs? (Ninja'ed by OP)

Did you just type the password and it shut off, or did you hit enter.

Is your PC new or old? Does it need cleaning? (overheating?)

ouch, check your temps...something is maybe overheating?

i would check the CPU cooler make sure it's properly installed with thermal paste etc..

Its new, and I'm running Windows 10 Pro and it was after I hit enter but before it loaded

I also noticed my CPU was in the mid 40s in the BIOS

is it an old install of windows, or have you installed it fresh on a new drive?

yeah then i would start there...format your drive and install windows brand new on it...probably some old stuff interfering with the new hardware...this is quite comon.

I thought the same but 40c in bios ain't bad.

 

I'd start here before the OS.

depends how long he's been in there...maybe by the time windows booted etc. it could reach shut down temps...he's not responding anymore so he probably figured it

Oh, 110c I believe is thermtrip / 90c throttle point / 70c High Temp Alert (max fan rpm)
