After Building my 1st proper rig at 2013. Now i think its time to upgrade/get a new rig for myself.Jumping from an i5 3570k to ryzen 7. These are the parts im getting it with.

Its good enough?Any compatibility issue? I also saw somewhere that the m.2 slot on tomahawk will disable sata 6g/s port if i slot in an M.2 SSD on it. Its true?

Also is there any other cooler that you guys can recommend? Scythe mugen 5 is obtainable just not from the same place im getting the other parts. And they only have cryorig H7 and Cooler Master Hyper 212 RGB Black. These are the 2 they recommend as aircooler. Or i just get the remain parts and get mugen 5 then install it myself after the rig arrive? Or is the wraith prism is enough? My ambient temperature is around 27c-31c. Will on my AC at night time temp should be around 20c.

I also seen alot of mixed review on aircooler with ryzen on temp spike or something. Does it still have issue like that after many months of release? Anyone with similair or same cooler can share there expriences?

Everything looks fine. If you still have doubts about the Wraith cooler that comes in the box, I can tell you that cooling performance won't be a problem. As for the SATA ports when installing an M.2 drive the manual states the following:

- You don't need aftermarket cooler if it's just for gaming, these temperature 'spikes' are nothing to worry about.

- Practically identical motherboard other than no RGB control support (stock cooler will remain on stock settings) and no Type-C on back I\O.

- Faster and cheaper RAM.

- Cheaper SSD with comparable performance. Yes, it will disable one or two SATA ports, it's the same for all motherboards if you use M+B slot (universal NVMe + SATA).

- Cheaper GPU.

- Cheaper case.

- Way cheaper PSU, it's rebranded Seasonic Focus in fact. 550W are enough for any gaming build.

I should have mention that i live in malaysia. But thank you for the advise. But unfortunately the parts after Motherboards. Are all unavailable or way overprice than the one that's advise on the list. Case i prefer something with good airflow. That's why i choose the cooler master h500. As for power supply with take note for it. Since its cheaper like 40 usd at my place.

I should have mention that i live in malaysia. But thank you for the advise. Ram is alot cheaper will consider it. SSD not available at my country. As for the case cost the same as cooler master h500 at my country. And EVGA GPU are usually imported at my side....the price i just checked it cost near the same as the asus ver. And i cant find anything on the PSU as well. So MSI B450 Tomahawk max doesnt have rgb support? I dont really mind but for "future proof" is Asus Strix B450-F Gaming a good board compare to that? Im only choosing tomahawk due to people saying it VRM is the best compare to other B450 boards.

Yeah, that changes things quite a bit ...

Tomahawk does, A-Pro and Gaming Plus which are practically the same boards otherwise - don't.

For the same price ? No. If ASUS is cheaper (like 20$ maybe) then it worth considering but for Ryzen 7 i'd go with MSI.

Check SSD tier list, for gaming build anything from tier B and up will be good, tier A if it's like 10$ more.

For the PSU check PSU tier list too, smth from tier B+ and up will be okay, tier A\A+ if it's 10$ more.
