Hello fellow forum users,

Now I know this is probably the wrong forum to be posting this in but this is my first time using it so I do apologize if it is. But I'm requesting some help about the way my graphics look in some games for me right now. So the Steam sale has been on recently and I bought American Truck Simulator and Life is Strange, both 1 and 2 (I believe lol) and when I first played them all, they all had really blocky textures and I had no idea why. Now I'm an avid Team Fortress 2 player, I've invested way too many hours into this game, and when I've been playing it between ATS and LIS, the graphics have been perfectly fine. I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts to what is wrong with my computer / game graphics and if they could suggest any way I could fix this issue.

ATS Screenshots:

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1957254908 - headlights as orange squares

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1957254962 - menu screen going fuzzy at the bottom

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1957254794 - trees and buildings being pretty much solid colours

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1957254734 - dials inside the truck being all solid colours too

Hopefully these screenshots are enough to prove my point. They are all set to private on Steam so do ask if they need to be made public for you to see them, it's kinda my first time making screenshots private too so do just ask me to make them public again and I can do so. Do also ask if you'd like screenshots of LIS too, I can happily provide some.

PC Specs:

Ryzen 3 1200

GTX 1050

8GB DDR4

1TB Hard Drive

240GB SSD

I know the specs are rather vague but it should be enough info to give you an idea to what to say. One thing I will note is my RAM I believe is running at 1333 megahertz as my motherboard doesn't  have the xmp profile setting in the bios meaning I can't run it at it's stock 2400 megahertz.

Hopefully this is enough info to cover my issue, please get in touch if you need any more details, and any help is appreciated!

Thanks

Swayze

Try going to Nvidia Control Panel > Adjust Image Settings with Preview >

then there will be 3 radio buttons. If not already selected, select "Let the 3D application decide". I have had similar trouble with Minecraft closely regarded what your talking about and that seemed to fix the problem. I'm sorry If I'm not much help.

Hi,

This unfortunately didn't make a difference. I do appreciate you trying though, thanks! ?
