I7-7700k OC

Hey,

i recently started overclocking my system which has an I7 7700K on Asus Maximus VIII Hero. I managed to oc my cpu to 4.8GHz on all cores without additional voltage. How much volts are ok for this CPU and how far should i be able to push it?

I cool it with an corsair 115i Platinum RGB

That's pretty darn good. if you want to keep things mild, keep the voltage below 1.3 and see how far you can go.

Ok thy apparently i already had you answer me on another thread with the same topic but another cpu lol 

tbh i dont care about the system being silent i just want to oc this to max performance (bought another 7700k as Server)

To crank max performance, safe daily voltage is generally 1.4 or lower

thy on 1.35V it runs on 5.1 on all core 

now i will let a stress test run for about 1h to let the aio warm up and see the max temps
