Hello ?

I bought a PowerA controller off Amazon and I'm having an issue with Windows.

Every time I boot my computer up (shutdown/poweron and restarting is the same) the pad isn't recognized by Windows and there's two main situations:

1) I get this error in Device Manager: Unknown USB Device (device descriptor Request Failed)

2) The controller is listed in Device Manager without errors but joy.cpl and Steam are unable to see it

The only fix for me is to unplug and plug it back, then it starts working fine, until a new PC shutdown/restart.

I have already contacted PowerA and they told me this issue only happens in Windows 7, while Windows 10 should be fine. Then they sent me a replacement controller and it DOES behave exactly the same.

Firmware should be up-to-date (there aren't any firmware available on PowerA website and, I believe, XBOX Accessory app doesn't let me update it) and drivers came straight from Windows 10.

So, what are the chances that this pad is somewhat incompatible with my motherboard (Aorus B450m)? There are a few BIOS updates which mention "improved usb device compatibility" but I'm not sure that will fix my problem and I honestly don't feel like updating the BIOS.

Any advice? Thanks
