GPU troubles

so today i installed a nvidia gtx 1650 OC. The GPU fan is spinning and slotted in correctly; my pc turned on and was able to run google, and youtube no problem. But when i went to play mine craft. It said that i had no graphics card. The system wasn't displaying that my graphics card was even in the system at all. I went into the bios to see if it was registering my GPU, and it was not registering my gpu. i am a little lost on what to do. Is it a bad GPU? I also couldn't download the nvidia  experience. it simply would not download.
