Windows Automatic Repair Tool Loop

When I boot up my computer windows just goes to Automatic Repair screen and does nothing, and tips on what to do

If you have installation media, you can attempt to run startup repair through that.

Was there some precipitating event that caused your system to fail to boot?

I recently switched CPUs and went from a 1500x to a 2600, but it was booting up fine at first, and then started to crash more and more, and can't even boot to windows now

It may be a little bit of a stretch, but I don't see a reason as to why a CPU swap would cause increasing issues in boot. Are you on your most recent BIOS/UEFI release?


Try a clear CMOS, see if it happens to help.

My bios is updated, so I don't think that's the problem
