I recently just built a computer with a RTX 2070, i7 9700k, and 32 GB of ram and I have some old monitors that I was not using and decided to make a set up where I had 5 monitors. However the RTX 2070 only supports 4 monitors at once so I went into the bios an enabled the integrated graphics on the i7 9700k and I was wondering if this will decrease performance of the processor. I could put it in a old graphics card, but it ruins the look inside the case. Does anyone know if enabling integrated graphics on a i7 9700k would decrease performance of the processor. I am not gaming on that monitor just using it to power the monitor and for google chrome. Thanks for any reply.

it creates a little more heat and could affect your overclock a little bit.

won't affect the cpu's performance if its stable, though.

i did this for a while because i didn't have the right cables.

The logic say it will, it will have to work more.

Has for all those monitors set up.

1: why on earth you want 5 monitors in the front of you?

2: Plugin 4 monitors on the 2070 will drop the performance (even in game when you use one monitor)

I have the same specs as you!, i have 2 monitors connected (1x4κ 27" & 1x1080p 24"), i also have a third 1080p 24" that i don't want to connect, i think it's overkill and kinda useless.

I use three displays and I don't think I could go back to two.

When I game, I have on my left display chrome with YouTube/Netflix/hulu, my game running in the middle display, and on my right display I have my hardware monitoring software running split with another chrome window for forums.

I definitely could never go back to just one display. I'd lose my mind.

Five may be a bit much though.

I definitely agree with that!!!

I would never be able to go back to one display either, but never!!!

For me 2 is the sweet spot, gaming on the main 4k and on the other one all the info i need (ALL the monitoring , time/date, Chrome, ect..)
