Thinkpad t500 thermal pads, square things, and cheap ssd?

My thinkpad t500 seems to be missing a thermal pad, this one to be exact

and these square black things (have no clue what those square things are)

I was wondering where I could purchase the right thermal pad, those square things if they matter? and what would be a good cheap ssd for this little guy.
