Pop OS GUI not loading

Since 2 days ago when I turn on my pc and boot into Pop OS the GUI is not loading, I can ssh into it and do stuff but I have not managed to get the GUI to load.

Last time this happened it started working again with sudo apt-get update and sudo apt-get upgrade but that didn't fix it.

what can I do?

 

btw I also have to reinstall GRUB since I reinstalled windows in another hard drive. Here is a link to the GRUB post but I doubt that this is the problem.

when u say GUI not loading u mean command line interface right??

if so try

startx

if shows error

install any desktop environment then reboot and again try

startx
