Help choosing RAM

I have been thinking of buying a ram upgrade for my pc 

 

My motherboard is a

And I've checked the QVL list and I'm down to 2 options that I could find available 

 

32gb at 3000mhz CORSAIR DOMINATOR Platinum Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4 DRAM 3000

Speed or amount? For streaming, gaming, video editing, and multi-tasking 

I got a ryzen 5 1400 but intend to change to a 3900 or a 3950x from ryzen 9 series

I would go with 2 x 16gb, and higher speed , at least 3200 or higher.

With Ryzen it is best to use 1 stick per channel (Ryzen supports dual channel). This is because you will likely have to lower speeds and/or loosen timings in order for them to work. For example, 2 sticks might get 3200, but 4 only 2666.
