NVLDDMKM error on 2080 super

Lancten

Hello,

Since last week tuesday i found out that i have a problem with my 2080 super 8gb
There for i had no problem with it at all, (i bought the card like 3-4 weeks ago.)

The problem occured with the last driver update.
here is a list of what my dad and i tried.
fresh windows, fresh drivers.
We tried to change the clock speeds and power, Reseted the bios.
Everything was put back into factory settings even the cpu.

Some extra information,
The gpu spiked to 100% and then cut off the application that it was running.
The temprature went from 34 Celsius to 84 Celsius in a matter of seconds.

Now The ony thing that fixed it is by putting in my old gtx 1060 6gb
Everything runs smooth now i can start up games with no NVLDDMKM problem on path of exile
Or i can play overwatch with no rendering error's poping up mid game.

So my conclusion is,
The last driver update fudged things up bad for my rtx 2080 super.

Now my qeustion is,
How do i rmd my rtx2080 or should i wait and try for the next driver update to fix it

Edit: the gpu is dead.

Happy holidays

Thats not good. It sounds like possibly the card went bad. Can you test the card in a different PC?
