so context. my brother reached out to me to help him with some sd cards and usb drives that were write protected.
long story short he used this software call disk drill (i think its a dodgey at best "company" but all the drives he used it on are permently write protected but only on the pc he had disk drill on.
does anyone have experience with this software? or know how to "unlock" theses drives 
I formated with CMD and still no luck

Okay if you didn't figure it out and the answer missed you. Don't worry about having to do it in anything else but DiskDrill plug in the drives and look for the R/O labled on the drives. Right click the drive and simply click "remove protection" for all the aformentioned drives. Best of luck to any who missed this and needed the help
