Need help with SLI

@TomvanWijnen Is it possible with Ryzen build?

Likely. I believe you can even use mismatched GPUs for this, if I remember correctly I did so in the past too. :)

I have Gigabyte X570 Aorus Pro and Asrock X570 Phantom Gaming 4 and I would like to use one of those as SLI with 2 GPU.

I have 2 of RTX 2080Ti and 2 of RTX 2070 Super.

1. Does any of those 2 Mobo can setup SLI?

2. Can I do SLI with GPUs that I have? (2 of the same type of course)

3. Do I need extra hardwares to setup the SLI?

*Back story

I need to connect with 6 monitors from just one PC (and use as super wide and big display).
I've ordered 8x8 HDMI Matrix with Video Wall Function but they won't be arriving until 2020 Jan 10

and I have a presentation to make this Monday. That's why I'm looking for quick solution with SLI.

Thanks in advance..

Honestly? Why do you need this? Is there really a need for 3500$ of gpus for 6 monitor setups?

Otherewise it just comes down to compatibility, even 2 gpus should handle it just fine. One if you decide to daisy chain a few.

On my motherboard you could plug in monitors in both the GPU and the motherboard at the same time. 4 ports on my GPU and 3 on my mobo means 7 monitors in total. :)

@Shimejii What I need to do is to connect 6 monitors from one PC and make all the displays as one monitor. And I can't do it with one GPU since my card only have 4 outputs. I need the extra 2 outputs. That's why I'm trying to use 2 GPUs.

**But I'm not sure I can just use 2 gpus without setting up SLI. Is it possible?

You can NOT use the outputs of the 2nd card when in SLI. So to use all the outputs you must not enable SLI.

There are special cards with 6 outputs for about $200 though for 2D only.

Can I just use 2 GPUs and not using SLI bridge?
