HD7950 black screen

Oliver davies

Hello, here's the run down,

I have 2 HD7950s and out of the blue one stopped working. No display out on the card not even for bios. but the fan would spin. After DDU I could see that, using the other GPU as display out,  the faulty one was detected in gpuz. When drivers are installed I get to the windows logo then a black screen using the working GPU as primary. When installing drivers I get a black screen and need to remove the faulty card to get into windows and DDU.

Ive tried flashing Vbios to no avail.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated :)

Sounds like it’s dead. You can try to bake it, it may help tbh.
