RGB Control Help! [FIXED]

I dont really know how to start these posts so im just gonna get right to it, i have an r7 2700x and i believe the cooler that comes with it was the wraith prism. Now i have finally decided i want theme my rgb so i've plugged it in and gotten the cooler master software to see the dang thing. But now when i tell it to make the fan all red it does in fact make it red but it also changes to orange/yellow/green in that order before returning to red and i have no idea how to make it stop. please help. I have attached an image of my settings in the program.

EDIT: ok so i just tried changing it to the led connector next to the one i was using and tried using the rgb controller in the bios and that had its own problems so i ROTATED the plug and when i turned it on it had returned to the default rainbow so I launched the coolermaster software and now it works! its stays red. I tried using this connector once before so it must have been the rotating that fixed it.
