GT 1030

Dark_Lord_11

Hi,

I wish to upgrade my computer with eight gigabytes of RAM and also a GT 1030. I have a GIGABYTE GA-MA74GMT-S2 (rev. 1.4) paired along with an AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition, four gigabytes of DDR3 memory clocked at 1333 MHz. My motherboard's chipset has an AMD 740G and it states that it supports PCI E 1.1 whereas the GT 1030 is of PCI E 3. My question is, what kind of a bottleneck am I looking at?

Tbh GT 1030 is not really powerful card so you probably not gonna see any difference. If you had something like 1080 than yes more likely it’ll be problem.

Don't get a GT 1030.  It's a really bad card. An RX 570 will heavily outpace it for the same price, and a used GTX 750 Ti will still beat it at half the cost.

Make sure to quote or tag me (@JoostinOnline) or I won't see your response!
