Hello all, in just a few days, I will be ordering all the components I need for my first build. I've spent the past month, or so, looking up core components, and now I'm ready to pick a case. This search yielded three appealing cases:

NZXT Source 530

Bitphoenix Ronin

Corsair 500r

The Build that will be housed includes:

CPU: I5-3550P

MOBO: ASRock Z77 extreme 4

RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws X (2x2gb)

GPU: Asus R9-270x

PSU: Corsair-CX 600

My Budget for a Chassis is only about $130 (U.S.) so if you have any other recommendations, please keep that in mind.

Note:Though I doubt Clearance will be an issue,  I'll eventually be putting a CM Hyper 212 evo Cooler inside the case.

Thanks for the help!

Why bother with a z77 board if you aren't getting an unlocked processor? I have a 500r (white) and I like it. Needed a bit of modding to fit my water cooling loop in but other than that its a great case.

Seriously dude, this ^

dafuq is this CPU ? Get a Z87 board and CPU man, Z77 CPU like the 3570K and the 3770K are great overclokers and you plan on getting a 3550P ? Just why ? It's such a waste...

And yeah, get a Define R4 or a Arc Midi R2 ? Maybe Corsair 500R ?

I like having the option to upgrade however, I realize it may not be worth it. if you have any alternative recommendations, I'd be grateful.

Honestly I would suggest a Haswell CPU at this point (or go AMD). If you aren't planning on overclocking right away, don't bother with a z77/87 motherboard. Just get a regular i5 (or AMD apu) and take the money you save and put it into more memory (ram) and maybe an SSD.

After crunching some numbers, I will be able to get a 4670k, with an ASRock Z87 Killer. Due to the recommendations of Linus, those in this forum, and the folks at Hardware Canucks, I'll be going with The Define r4. I'll wait until I can get a better cpu cooler before overclocking, but I'll definitely be taking advantage of that ability in the near future.

Thanks again.
