I've just come home from college, and I brought my VR setup with me. I set it up, launched beatsaber, and suddenly it's unplayable. The framerates are low, and the sabers are lagging behind my controllers. Some interesting variables:

-im using an eGPU setup, Lenovo yoga C930 max spec and a superclocked 1070 over the mantiz Venus enclosure

-I travelled by train, and let the setup with me in the car, but I forgot to cushion the graphics card

-beat saber just updated

-ive uninstalled and reinstalled beatsaber

-ive uninstalled and reinstalled the Oculus software

-tried playing robo recall for comparison, it was stuttery too but not as bad as beat saber

Just a guy who peaked at building back in the days of the GTX 980. If you see me here, assume i have technical knowledge akin to a committed hobbyist builder back then. If something's changed, you'll need to tell me(nicely plz). I'm probably asking for help with the modern build scene since I have no clue what's going on.
