7970 Ghz Issue

I have a Gigabyte 7970 GHz and I overclocked it to 1160 core and 1600 mem stable but when I run mantle on BF4 my core clock jumps up and down and is not stable and I get frame dips and gpu usage dips. Is this normal for this card or is there an issue with the 14.1 drivers?

Revert your drivers back to the non-beta ones and disable Mantle. I did and it runs much better.

I have uninstalled the drivers using the 13.12 express uninstall and the computer is not rebooting the monitor is off and so is the keyboard and mouse but the tower has the fans running and is on.

it has been 15 mins now and I am not sure if I should press the power to shut it down.
