Wd black squared raid

Could you take two wd black squares and put raid ten on them?

I don't think so since they are not the same drives.

I depends on what you want to do. The WD Black² is seen by Windows as two separate drives.

So Windows sees one 128GB SSD and a separate 1TB HDD. If you had two Black²'s,

you could theoretically put the SSD's in RAID 0 and the HDD's in RAID 1.

This way you achieve optimal speed for OS and programs and optimal reliability for documents.

 

You can't, however RAID the SSD with the HDD, as they are not alike in capacity and speed.
