Hi,
a Friend of mine wants to upgrade his build with a new motherboard, cpu and ram. so i'm considering selling him my parts and buy something new for me.
My current build is: 6700k, 2x8gb some generic 2133MHz DDR4 Ram, GA-B150M-DS3H.
My choice would be an i9-9900k, Asus ROG Maximus XI Hero Gaming, 2x 8 GB Domminator Platinum.
or Ryzen 9 3900X with X570 Board (like
ASUS ROG Strix X570-F Gaming Mainboard Sockel AM4)

For cooling i got a NH-15.

Do you guys think, that this change is worth it and should i also buy a new PSU(i got a
FORTRON FSP PSU HEXA500+ and a GTX1060)?

thanks

EDIT: Budget is around 1000€ but its not that stringent. I use it primarily for gaming.

That wasnt exactly my question.
Jeah i know that my cpu is completly fine but i would like to sell this to a friend of mine because i know it works and just get new stuff.
i will eventually upgrade my gpu too but not now.

i meant if youre selling then just go for 3700 tho. i meant 1080P display. its not worth to go over i7/R7. and do you need X570 for Pcle? if its not B450 is fine like tomahawk. and you can save money too.

i chose those options so that i dont have to upgrade my system any time soon. (i dont know at the moment if i want to upgrade my second monitor to a 1440/4k high refreshrate one)
And you would say that the 50 € higher price(if i choose MSI) between X570 and B450 isnt worth it?

i also had concerns with my current motherboard wether a newer and better gpu would even fit below the NH-D15.
Because with my current gpu without backplate it is a really tight fit.
