Hello from Germany :)

This is my current PC from basically Januar 2014 (except for graphics card and custom water Loop)

i5 4570

Msi h87-G41 pc-mate

3*4gb DDR3 Corsair vengance LP 1600

GTX 970

Bequiet system Power 7 450w

Monitor is a 1080p 60hz

I started with a r9 270x and all aircooled and Upgraded to a used gtx 970 and build an all custom liquid cooling in late 2018

I Just got a Lenovo explorer VR and the CPU isnt living Up to the requirements of many VR Games. I think the CPU is quiet a bottleneck now isnt it?

Apart from that i am playing basically every type of Game (Battlefield1, modern warfare, tarkov, Anno 1800, FIFA, dirt Rally, Project Cars 2, Forza Horizon,)

So i was thinking either getting a used i7 4790k so that i can keep the Motherboard, RAM and waterblock (its an ek supremacy acetal)

In Germany i am looking at 160€ for that

Or switching the entire Mainboard, CPU and

RAM and waterblock and maybe getting a used Ryzen 5 2nd gen With b450 and ddr4 RAM which would Put me at about 180€ excluding waterblock (which i think could also fit the Ryzen, i have to Look Up the exact model)

So basically i would Like to hear some opinions on If you would consider buying a 4790k in 2019. Compared to maybe a 2600x

Or would you recommend Something completely different?

I dont have a fixed Budget, i rather always Look for the best bang for the Buck.

Oh and i am going at 60°C at full load so i think my watercooling has headroom for overclocking?

Liebe Grüße ;)
