Buid Recommendations

Hi everyone, this is my first post so please don't judge too hard if there are any errors or simple mistakes. I currently have a gaming laptop with a GTX 1050Ti, Core i5 8300H @ 2.30 GHz, 16 GB of Ram @ 2666 MHz, a 1TB hard drive, and a 100GB SSD for the OS. I'm looking to build a desktop with similar or slightly better performance. I mostly will be using it for gaming, mainly mid to low demanding titles. I'd love to hear everyone's recommendations. I live in the US and have a budget of about $450, but could probably go to $500. I won't need any peripherals in my budget.

Looks great! If I wanted to make it an even $500 what would you recommend I put the extra $20 towards?

if you're willing to look for second hand parts on ebay, you can probably find a ryzen 5 1600 or 2600 for $80-$100, which will make your build much better
