How can I connect my USB microphone to my iPhone 7?

I’ve seen a bunch of videos and it seems like they all require an USB hub and a lightning to camera adapter which is a bit expensive. Is there any other way to do this? I have tried plugging both the microphone and the iPhone into the same usb hub but it didn’t work. The usb microphone I’m currently using is the Razer seiren X, and I am using an iPhone 8 with the latest version of iOS.
