USB Hub 'Switcher'

here's the story.  my monitor has a usb hub.  I plug all my peripherals into this monitor.  I then connect the monitor's hub to my desktop to use my peripherals.

 

when I want to use my desktop gear on my laptop, i need to take the monitor's usb connection, disconnect it from the desktop, and then connect it to the laptop.

 

so, I'm looking for a device that i can plug my monitor into (only usb, not video connectors) and it then plugs into both my laptop and desktop at the same time.  so instead of disconnecting cables, I can just push a button and have it switch between my monitor hub connecting to either device.

 

it seems like I'm asking for a KVM.  if so, is there a usb-only version?
