Does anybody know of a free video editing software that will run ok on my 7th gen core i5 laptop with intel integrated graphics (12gb ram)? Thanks in advance.

I still use windows movie maker, with the right settings you can get some pretty decent results. Not sure if you can still download it.

My settings tend to be: 1080p 60fps with a as high as possible bit rate.

I have also used sony vegas pro is in the past. Although I had my pirate hat on back then.

When I'm out and about I personally use my macbook pro.

I use Hitfilm Express mostly.
I DL'ed Davinci Resolve, but it uses up too much resources and does not give as smooth an experience as Hitfilm Express.

DR does have way more options but I am not that advanced with editing to where I use them.

On my laptop which is an HP notebook 15 with AMD A10 9600P, AMD Radeon R5, and 6gb ram, crashes with DR, and barely can handle Hitfilm Express but it's doable in a pinch.
