I recently (in September) bought parts and built a computer that i was supposed to use for gaming mostly and some schoolwork. Everything went well until i was going to install windows. In the beginning everything seemed ok and i came quite far in the setup of Microsoft accounts and stuff like that, when suddenly my pc just crashed. I thought it was strange but maybe there where some things that needed to install, so i waited a while. But nothing happend so i started up the pc and i came back to the original setup of windows again where you put in the language and region so i started over with everything and i put in the same setting as last time and while changing some stuff it went black again. And this kept happening each time i was setting up windows. The weird thing is that if i put in everything and change the settings faster i come further into the installation but it keeps crashing. I have run programs like diskpart via the command promt to clean my ssd and do a fresh new install of windows 10, but it keeps on crashing. So i gave up and downloaded Linux Ubuntu which worked fine, but because i built this PC to game on and most of the games i want to play don't support Linux i wan't to install windows but as i said i had some trouble doing that. I have used Memtest86+ which comes with Ubuntu and it had no problems it could see and i have used different USB sticks for the Windows 10 download but all had the same problem. Does any one know what could be wrong and how to solve it.

My parts are:

AMD Ryzen 5 2600x

MSI Radeon RX 580 Armor OC 8GB

16 GB (2x8 GB) Corsair Vengeance LPX Black

MSI B450M PRO-M2 MAX

Corsair CX550M 550W

Kingston A400 480GB

Have you tried installing Windows using another PC and then moving the drive to the PC it's intended for?

Try lutris, I've not been unable to play any games I like, including overwatch and satisfactory. What are some of the games you want to get working?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Games like rainbow six siege, Fortnite and GTA V don't support Linux. I have tried lutris for example  fortnite but that doesn't work on lutris. And most games run slower on Linux vs Windows.
