disk read error occured/no boot device found

I'm getting sometimes weird issues with these error messages.

It happens mostly when PC is not used for longer period of time maybe for like around month or so.

PC hangs usually at splash screen of motherboard (Asrock 990FX Extreme 3),and even if I manage to enter BIOS(sometimes I can't),I don't see my SSD listed in boot devices which is weird.

When I reboot the PC few times I get a SSD recognized in BIOS, and I set it as first boot device, but then I get disk read error message after reboot.

So I haven't touch nothing, rebooted PC few times, first time it booted like for around 10 minutes into Windows, then I turned it off,and turn the PC on and then finally PC was booting the system at normal speed around 1 minute.

Seems like motherboard issue,or what?I haven't touch any cables, nor I changed anything in BIOS.

I checked SSD which is 840 EVO 120 GB,no errors found...

Please do not take offence for my apparent confusion or rudeness,it's not intent me to be like that,it's just my BPD,be nice to me,and I'll return twice better,be rude and usually I get easly pissed of...I'll try to help anyone here,as long as it's something I dealt with, and even if you think I'm rude or not polite, forgive me,  it's not me it's my BPD.

Thanks for understanding.

Could be motherboard, cable or SSD. How did you check the SSD, did you check it's S.M.A.R.T info (e.g. using Samsung Magician Software)?

If you have free SATA ports, you could try attaching the SSD to another port and see if the issue still occurs (may have to change boot sequence in BIOS after swapping the ports).

Hmm don't have any spare sata ports...could be the cable, but then again all other cables which are the same are connected to other HDDs.

All cables are Chinese,red ones.

I could swap the cable but I did pretty bad mess with cable management because the case is quite tight.

I'll try to swap the cable soon, with the one I got with my Asus MB...
