Topping D10 problems

Hello,

 

I seem to have an issue with the d10 DAC. It seems to restart or shut off sometimes for no particular reason randomly not really sure whats causing it i tried plugging it into a usb 2.0 port at first seemed to help but it still "resets". Now when i first plugged it didn't work in a 3.0 port i moved the cable in the unit itself and that seemed to be problem then i plugged it into 2.0 the problem went away and i could manhandle the cable a bit with no issues but it still happens sometimes.

 

Any idea whats causing it could it be a motherboard issue? (gigibyte x570 elite)

 

Does it need to be plugged in 2.0 or should 3.0(had had some issues some time ago with mice and keyboards being very fussy with 3.0 sometime ago, when 3.0 came out) work?

 

Any advice?

 

My problem is i ordered it on amazon.de and shipping stuff around in EU is a pain.

 

Could something else be causing the issue?

 

Has anyone had the same "pleasure"?

Haven't had issues with mine. If usb 3.0 was causing issues I would stick to 2.0

there are drivers to install refer to the manual on how to do it be careful on which specific druivers you download though

Tried the DAC on a diffrent computer and followed the instructions and it works (installing the drivers first...) so it might be a computer issue or the default drivers that windows installed when i plugged it in.
