X99-UD3 m.2 storage solution

I just wanted to put this out there because I was not able to find anything on the  forums on the internet to solve my problem but if installing an m.2 nvme SSD using a PCI 4X adapter and you're already have a graphics card in PCIe1 slot I was able to boot and run the Samsung 970 pro off the pcie express slot number 2 and get full pcie gen3 X4 speeds

And I am running a

5960x 

4x4gb ddr4

Vega 64

WiFi pcie

Pcie usb3.0 

Pcie tv tuner

If you refer to the official website, you can see your motherboard only giving PCIe x2 for M2 slot.

your right that is where i originally placed the 970 Pro M.2 Drive, but i bought an adapter off eBay to plug directly into the 2nd pci-e 16x lane with 16 lanes actually traced slot and now the NVME SSD operates at full speeds and not pcie gen2 x2 because before i was getting around 800mb/s read and writes, but remember this motherboard came out around 2014 when i built the system and im now just adding the NVME drive so back then NVME was only around for a few years as the first specs for nvme was 2011
