Uncertainty on GTX 750 ti

I’m planning to get a GTX 750 to for my hp with a Cupertino2. The mobo concerns me because I’ve seen other say that it doesn’t work with some of them, so I need clarification on which exact one should work with the old bios

I vaguely remember this issue from years ago.  I never found a permanent fix to run a 750... We were able to get it working with some hoop jumping until the system was rebooted. We ended using an hd 7750 somehow with no issues. I don't know if it's the legacy issues or if it was PSU related. 

 

I'll see if my friend remembers what the problem was.
