mATX or ITX cases with USB-C on front I/O panel?

I've been looking for AM4 mATX and ITX motherboards that support USB 3.1 Gen2 through the internal headers, and there aren't many. Then I realized maybe the case manufacturers don't put many full-blast USB-C ports on the front I/O panel, so chipset integrators wouldn't have any reason to provide that much bandwidth and power in the front headers. Is this a totally pointless bit of future-proofing? 

 

It's not a make-or-break feature for my build, but I'm hoping to upgrade this build in a few years rather than replace it completely. As 10Gbps or high-draw peripherals become more common, it would be nice to have more options than just the single USB-C port on the backplate.
