T430 CPU Replacement

Would a T430 be able to support newer processors such as a AMD Ryzen 5 1600?

Laptop??  No.  Laptops are ALMOST ALWAYS soldered.

I dont think so. you can replace it with 3rd gen cpu from intel though.

I see, the reason I'm asking is because the T430 does NOT have a soldered CPU. In that case would it be able too?

In this case, the CPU is replaceable

Welp, there is the ALMOST I mentioned huh?  hehe

Looking at the video it does look like the CPU is a Ryzen with the pins on the bottom of the processor, but then checking the specs it says it's only intel.

A 3520M is the highest powered CPU listed.  Not sure if they all have the same motherboard and power delivery.

id personally recommend 

i7–3840QM(4c/8t 2.8-3.8ghz) and or i7–3632QM(4c/8t 2.2-3.2Ghz)

the first one is 45W tdp and the second one is a 35W tdp
