Hello everyone I'm new. And I plan on building my first gaming pc. Well I also need it for school. I have a budget of about 800 for pc its self as well as the peripherals/OS. I have a pcpartpicker of a rig that seems good to me but wanted to see if there is any fixes or changes that would help. Looking to get 60+ fps in most AAA games at 1080p medium-ultra setting. I will leave a link for the pcpartpicker. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/F3F4dm

some slight adjustments

You can save a lot on the SSD since samsung charges quite a lot for their products, and a cheaper + better PSU is in order. Also, you can opt to get an RX 580 and just overclock it yourself, since an RX 590 is just an overclocked 580. Went with Ryzen because you will receive another generation of CPU support, whereas you're limited to 9th gen at best for this current Intel platform. Of course you can still upgrade back up to the samsung SSD or RX 590 if you really want to, since this build list saves you some money.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Thank you I appreciate it. But arent the amd processor ram hungry. So upgrading to something like the 3200 memory help? Or am I wrong. And I dont know how to overclock anything

"ram hungry" means a program uses more ram. AMD CPUs are more "ram sensitive," meaning they see a lot of benefit from high speed ram. The ram you picked, the DDR4 3000 kit, is still plenty for good gaming performance, although you might find 3200 is not much more expensive (possibly even the same price).

As for overclocking, it's very easy to learn how to do with online tutorials, but if you don't want to bother learning how, the 590 still fits your budget.

Sorry I used the wrong wording. And I am willing to learn how so that's not a problem. And should I make the case smaller because now I'm not using an atx but a micro atx or will the phanteks case be fine?

same case is no problem. usually an ATX case with micro ATX board is fine, especially if you like the case already. Maybe you'll keep the case in the future when you upgrade and you want an ATX board. If you're not too attached to the case you can probably find a decent deal on a micro ATX case

Ok last question. With these components will I be able to run most of not all AAA titles at 60+ fps? And I do want to thank you for helping me with this!
