Gpu frequency?

Im new to gaming pcs.  And i have the asus strix 2080Ti i99900k and 32gb ram. I was checking msi afterburner for gpu frequency. And it drops from 1950mhz to 1805mhz while playing and goes back up is that normal?

Because frequency impacts performance so when frequency drop the performance drop too similar to cpu behaves. In your case, it is normal for frequency to fluctuate depends on the load.

I tried red dead. 1813mhz-1875hz.1850hz like that. And sometimes 1950mhz

Thats normal to me. This is NVIDIA gpu boosting technology doing its job in the background.
