Upgrading my rig :)

_Lucifer

Hey guys and girls, so i wanna upgrade my "old" pc from ddr3 to ddr4 (i found out it got rly "cheap") and get rid of the bottleneck i have right now. So any opinion is always appreciated. :)

1. Budget & Location
Well money rly isnt that much of a problem and im from Europe.

2. Aim

I mainly game on my pc, so its gonna be a gaming rig. I use SolidCam from time to time but mainly game.

3. Monitors

 Have 2 monitors.  +1 TV

1st. Main: Is DELL P2714H   (27inch, 1920 x 1080, 60hz)

2nd.   : Is SAMSUNG S24F350 (24inch, 1920 x 1080, 60hz)

+1 TV... sometimes we play games on DS4 controllers. Its like playing on playstation but better :P

Not gonna have more monitors, 2 is eanuf for me. One for gaming or programing, and 2nd one for discord, searching, music etc.

4. Peripherals

One quick question about keyboards. Was thinking about to replace my old keyboard with mechanical keyboard. Is anyone familiar with kailh switches?

5. Why are you upgrading?

Well my Cpu bottleneck was rly bugging me. Couldnt max games because of my Cpu and i rly couldnt use my full potential of my Gpu. Soo i was searching for a better Cpu. Found i7-4790K. The best one that would fit my chipset (LGA 1150). I found out that this cpu is around 400euro. And is out of stock from stores im normaly buying (probably becouse its an "old" model). Then i looked up for the DDR4 prices, and they went down, not that expensive anymore. For a price of i7-4790 i get a DDR4.

So, my current goals are:
-Upgrade from DDR3 to DDR4
-Get rid of the bottleneck
-No overkill with cpu

and ofc.
-build a second pc from my old parts (ddr3) :P

My Current build:

  2 Monitors:

1st. Main: Is DELL P2714H   (27inch, 1920 x 1080, 60hz)

2nd.   : Is SAMSUNG S24F350 (24inch, 1920 x 1080, 60hz)

 Motherboard:

Maximus vi hero
 Ram:

Corsair Vengeance 24gb DDR3 1600 MHz
Cpu:

Inter core i5-4670K 3.40 GHz
Gpu:

Msi Geforce 1080 X gaming
Power Supply:

Corsair RM 650
Case:
Corsair Obsidian 750d (Full Tower)

So im asking for help guys and girls, any suggestions what would fit well with my Geforce 1080 x gaming so there would be no bottleneck and no overkill. Perfect fit.
For cpu im more of a Intel guy, but if you think i should switch to amd. Please tell why, better performance, cheaper, more performence per money, write facts please.

Your post is very all over the place, tell your specs so we can know if you are planing to upgrade all of the parts or just some of it.

You will be surprised what 8 threads brings over 4 threads....

But if its that expensive to buy a used 4790K, don't buy it at all...

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

Then get a Ryzen 3600 and call it a day.

Faster than 4790K for MOST games and only the 4790K gets a win due to CPU/Latency and Overclocks. Even then.... expect high usages in games on a 4790K like mine...
#NotAllGames but enough of them use over 50-60% now on average...and some are 80-90% (Battlefield V) usages on my CPU (4790K 4.6Ghz) with my Ram at 2200Mhz and a GTX1070 OC.

Buy Ryzen 3600 just for Gaming/light editing, buy the 8core if you do video editing or multithreaded loads,... and time = money.
