Doom loading freeze

I just bought Doom yesterday and have downloaded it. When I opened it, it freezes in loading title storage and the cursor is stuck in top left corner. I googled stuff and some say to go to offline mode on steam. I did that and now it's stuck at loading profile. Any help would be much appreciated.
