Hey there.

I want to replace my current heatsink fan with a fan with RGB. My current cooler is the Arctic Freezer 33 Esports one with an Arctic BioniX F120 on it.

Now my question: Do I have to use a specific fan with specific static pressure, RPM etc. or does any fan work, as long as it supports PWM?

And I'd appreciate any recommendations! :D

Thanks in advance, Meridian.

It the fan is not proprietary, uses standard 120mm fan dimensions, you should be able to just do a simply fan swap.

The spec of the fan does not affect the heatsink itself, but a higher static pressure fan usually results in better cooling performance through a heatsink, radiator, etc.

RPM is just the speed range of the fan, but somewhat does hand-in-hand with static pressure, and fan noise.

You don't *need* a PWM fan, but it will give you MUCH control over the fan speed.

Edit: And would a Corsair ML120 Pro work for this heatsink?

Thanks in advance, Meridian.

Yes, as far as I can tell it's a generic 120mm fan. Nothing fancy or unusual. Thanks for your answer! :D
