My low fps problem

check if you have the frame limit on. i think overwatch has it. CSgo has it as well i think. check nvidia settings. there might be something there such as power saving and vsync to all.

I just build my first pc the specs 

Corsair vengeance pro 32gb 3200 hmz

Evga 2080 super

I7 9700k

Asus Z390a

Corsair H115i RGB 

Corsair 550x Bronze certified 

West digital 500gb ssd

Seagate 2tb hhd

And a Corsair obsidian case

 

My problem is that my games get really low fps. For example Minecraft on max graphics 32 chunks, and no mods runs barely 60 fps. Overwatch also barely gets up to 60 fps on max graphics. 

Does anybody have a solution for that.

 

As I said thats my first build so I'm not that advanced.

Im with the mentaility of "IF IM NOT SURE IF ITS ENOUGH COOLING, GO OVERKILL"

 

CURRENT PC SPECS    

CPU             : Ryzen 5 3600 (Formerly Ryzen 3 1200)

GPU             : ASUS RX 580 Dual OC (Formerly ASUS GTX 1060 but it got corroded for some odd reasons)

GPU COOOER      : ID Cooling Frostflow 120 VGA (Stock cooler overheats even when undervolted :()

MOBO            : MSI B350m Bazooka

MEMORY          : Team Group Elite TUF DDR4 3600 Mhz CL 16
STORAGE         : Seagate Baracudda 1TB and Kingston SSD
PSU             : Thermaltake Lite power 550W (Gonna change soon as i dont trust this)
CASE            : Rakk Anyag Frost
CPU COOLER      : ID-Cooling SE 207
CASE FANS       : Mix of ID cooling fans, Corsair fans and Rakk Ounos (planned change to ID Cooling)
DISPLAY         : SpectrePro XTNS24 144hz Curved VA panel
MOUSE           : Logitech G603 Lightspeed
KEYBOARD        : Rakk Lam Ang

HEADSET         : Plantronics RIG 500HD

Kingston Hyper X Stinger

 

and a whole lot of LED everywhere(behind the monitor, behind the desk, behind the shelf of the PC mount and inside the case)

is Vsync or frame limmiter on? sometimes those affects FPS too.

vsync cap your fps to your monitor refresh rate to prevent screen tearing when fps exceeding your monitor refresh rate. For example, if you have 60 hz monitor and you enable vsync than it will cap to 60 fps

it makes the frame rate match the refresh rate of the monitor. mainly to reduce screen tearing.
