Cancel a transfer?

I am going to try to buy something online with BTC. I have a bunch of LTC i am going to exchange on BTC-e, so that's how im going to do that.

 

My problem is, i need to order fairly soon. I made a transaction in Litecoin-qt, but it has been a few hours and it has not broadcasted it yet. I would like to cancel the exchange so i can pay a small fee to speed it up.

 

Since the transaction has not broadcasted yet, is it possible to cancel it?

I don't believe it's possible to cancel it once it's sent. 

Sorry, but I think you will have to wait for it to go through.

It went through. I read that it can take upwards of a day to transfer. I guess i just got lucky. I have learned my lesson.
