I need quick help with gpu issue...

After buying a new rx 580 and installing it in my system the keyboard does not light up and it was not posting. When i removed the gpu power and changed the hdmi cable to the internal graphics the keyboard lights up and it posts.HELPP.

watch how to put the screws in the metalsheet-case-vga-atach , dont bend the graphics card inside the pcie slots, is an issue sometimes, connect and reconect all make sure use firm force in the pcie, and powersuply connector.

 

do you hear a beeb of the mobo of something?

Yes there is a beep and the system turns on does not post only mouse lights light up not the keyboards and then it shuts off and tries again and again...

wich motherboard do you have???

 

for me it is a short circuit of the graphics / motherboard, wish i have it physically to check out.

 

be carefull because i had 5 year ago a graphics card nvidia 7600gs and motherboard gigabite chipset nvidia nforce 520.

 

and i burned my motherboard with an issue similar like this, triying to fix conect short circuit my graphics card with my mobo it was pci express to.

 

be careful, go with a technician or something. if you can post a video on youtube to se what happen will be helpfull.
