My friend has a Gateway desktop from 2012. She uses it for work paperwork only. She needs to pull up research articles while doing paperwork, and wished to have dual monitors. The iGPU of her core i3 2100 wasn’t handling the load of dual monitors so I installed a RX 550(new) to take some of the load. Not for gaming or anything but something simply to help her with basic work issues. I plugged in a monitor using the HDMI port after installing the gpu, and everythingwas working fine until I downloaded the drivers. After which the monitor plugged into the HDMI port began flashing about every half second and reseting the mouse location. Deleted the driver and reinstalled and began experiencing the same issues. Not having this issue using the DVI port or DisplayPort, only when using the HDMI port. She has one monitor using DVI/VGA and the other only has HDMI/VGA. HDMI Port works fine with no issues when no drives are downloaded. Any ideas?
