Hey everyone,

this may be kind of an awkward question but I am looking for an easy to use program that allows archiving lots of images (mostly knitting instructions and such). The reason I am looking for something like this is, that my mother keeps complaining that Excel keeps crashing (the Excel sheet is about 60.000 rows long (and growing) and I have no idea how many pictures are in there). She is not very good at using the computer so the program needs to be easy to use (and explain) and she wants an easy way to view and categorize the images (I already told her she could simply use the file explorer, which I think is the best option to manage the huge amount of images, but her opinion on that is that she cannot see what kind of pictures are in each of the folders at a glance and therefor it is not suitable).

I would really appreciate the help as I am tired of going over to her PC only to tell her that Excel has crashed once again.

Thanks in advance

What are you looking from this software? Photo managers use tags, dates, location and other such metadata (besides filenam). If current thing is to use Excel, going to Access seems like better option. Access is pretty straight forward after base for table is made. And you can create update queries as templates for adding data.

E: or splitting data to several tabs or files.
