Sailfish looks EXTREMELY clean in my opinion. I see a lot of OSs taking that theme too.

Looks linux based, perhaps even a fork of AOSP and stripped down and rebuilt too allow apps to choose between the android virtual machine (either ART or dalvik)

Though I am not really sure on their decision for the use of QML for making the apps, not that QT is bad, but not many people know QT, with android using java a lot of developers already know the ins and outs. The SDK also doesn't seem to have any detailed documentation, and what is available isn't easy to traverse.

Arch Linux on Samsung 840 EVO 120GB: Startup finished in 1.334s (kernel) + 224ms (userspace) = 1.559s | U mad windoze..?

What does this have to do with Jolla's Sailfish OS?

Linux based system, designed to be built upon for systems like these.

What does this have to do with Jolla's Sailfish OS?

Well.. as I was speculating about the information I have just found out about it, it has everything to do with it.

I know this. If you didn't know Jolla is from Finland and I happen to be from Finland and this is very old stuff for us. Linus Torvalds is from here too.
