RAM or GPU

Hi! I was Researching video cards as my system doesnt do too well with fortnite after the Chapter 2 update, it stutters, and fps overall is much lower and its not stable at all. Then someone told me it would be a better idea to upgrade my RAM and it would do better in games? I have 12 Gigs of DDR4, does this have any truth to it?

12gig should be enough but what is your GPU ?

Yeah but 12gig should be enough to run it smoothly, no ? Since the APU uses part of the ram if I'm not mistaken.

You are correct, though, the RX 580 has problems with UE4, the engine fortnite uses. Thank you for recommending the 1660 SUPER, I forgot about its launch
