Couple of options here for you

(1) Pull all cables connecting to motherboard.

(2) Reset BIOS by pulling battery and/or shorting the jumper (depends on your mobo on how to do this)

(3) Plug cables back in one at a time, *ensuring* they are in the proper place.

(4) Try powering it up

We'll start with that and see if it works, report back

Hi

i recently updated my cpu from Ryzen 3 to 5

and when I started my machine for the first time I wrongly connected front panel buttons (power on to restart and restart to power button) so I turned pc off, opened it, switched front panel connectors, closed, and started again.

now I never get to the post screen (no beeps) just black and displays says (not connected) I tried to connect to the motherboard, the same thing. It happened earlier when I just build my pc, than once more when I changed cooler, than now again. I don’t know what is the issue but I have built before and I don’t think that I made a mistake now. I checked all connectors to the motherboard, psu, etc. everything seems ok to me.

please help!

Glad it worked.

If computers were reliable, I wouldn't have a job...

(in other words, no solid idea)
