GPU fan dropped!

oof, that's not just the fan attachment but the fan assembly itself. I would start by taking the plastic fan bracket off and checking for damaged parts

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad

Remove busted fan

Zip-tie a 120mm fan to GPU shroud and plug into motherboard for power

Set speed in BIOS

Game on

 

(last resort, or first resort if looks don't matter to you as I am all for DIY and saving money when possible)

easy fix, but a last resort.  Id prefer to have the card look good so for a certain amount Id fix it (like $10) but if not, just DIY and move on, its part of the "buying used" process (I have 2 used GPUs in use right now, so I understand why buying used is good :) )
