System crashes on heavy load

Go to solution Solved by nextg3n,

sounds to me like a psu issue... when at max load it cant handle it anymore and gives out...

My system is getting crashed while gaming or benchmarking, but runs without any problem for whole day on normal usage

Troubleshooting steps:

  1. Operating System: Tried on 2 different OS Ubuntu 18.04 and Windows 10 (separately installed on 2 different SSDs) but problem persists hence its not an OS issue
  2. Memory: I have a 2 RAM stick each with 8gb, With single RAM stick (anyone) benchmark or game runs a bit longer before crashing as compared to both RAM stick when configured in dual channel mode
  3. Overheating: While running heaven benchmark or game (Far cry 5) stats of CPU/GPU are GPU: 67 °c (max)  Usage 99% (avg)CPU: 50 °c (avg. per cores). Hence I believe it’s not a CPU/ GPU overheating issue
  4. Checked SSD health on Western Digital SSD Dashboard it is also ok
