Hey guys.

Having issues with my PC restarting itself when trying to game, no errors, no BSOD, no freezing beforehand, it just restarts. Currently only seems to do it on CoD:MW and Satisfactory. It seems fine in VR though.
At first I thought this was down to CPU temps, and although they are sitting a little higher than they normally would they dont become a concern. I stress tested in Prime95 and pushed the temps up for a minute or 2 and the PC didnt restart.
However when I benchmarked/stress tested the GPU it caused the PC to restart, this makes me fairly certain it may be PSU related (hopefully not GPU).

I dont think it is RAM related but plan on doing a memtest later on to rule that out. (Memtest done, no issues)

Specs:
CPU: Intel i7 6700k 4.0GHz

Mobo: Asus Maximus VIII Hero
RAM: 16GB (2x8GB) Corsair Vengenance
GPU: MSI 980ti Golden Edition
PSU: Corsair CX750M
OS: Windows 10 Pro 64bit

Wont be able to afford a replacement for another month or so as I just spent a load on a new headset lol. Anyone got any ideas for a workaround? I have tried underclocking the GPU in Afterburner and it seems to work sometimes, I managed to finish the CoD:MW campaign in 1 sitting, then the PC restarted at the very end lol. Othertimes I feel like it does nothing and the PC will restart when I start the game and it gets into a menu.

I would have thought my PSU would be able to handle this setup, but what do you guys think, could it be the PSU is dying or I just need to upgrade to 850w? Or is it something else entirely? (if you think it is something else, give me ways to test for it :) )
